Role Types
Understand the four SignedX permission levels — Owner, Admin, Standard, and Read Only — and choose the right access for each team member.
SignedX offers four permission levels designed to align access with job responsibilities: Owner, Admin, Standard, and Read Only. Giving the right people the right level of access keeps your organisation safe and makes day-to-day work easier.
The four roles
Owner The organisation's chief administrator with unrestricted access, including billing and retention controls. Only one Owner per organisation is permitted.
Administrator Power users capable of managing personnel, groups, and most organisation settings, but lacking billing and integration authority.
Standard Users who send envelopes, create templates, and manage group-assigned items, though they cannot modify organisation-wide settings.
Read Only Members who view items within their group but cannot make any modifications.

Choosing the right role
Match roles to actual daily tasks: Standard suits envelope senders; Admin fits those handling team administration; Read Only protects sensitive scenarios requiring view-only access; and Owner remains reserved for organisational governance responsibilities.
