Groups
Manage team organisation and multi-brand support through groups in SignedX.
Overview
Groups serve two primary functions: facilitating envelope sharing among team members and enabling distinct branding and contact management for different business entities within a single account.
If a group lacks custom branding or contact details, it inherits the organisation's default settings.
Access the Groups page via Settings > Groups as a SignedX Admin.
Groups List
The Groups page displays a table containing:
- Name — Internal group identifier
- Business — Business name appearing in outgoing envelopes
- Email address — Associated contact email
- Created — Group creation date
Search functionality is available, and each group includes an Open button for viewing and editing.
Creating a Group
Navigate to Settings > Groups and select Create in the upper right.
Enter these required details:
- Group name — Internal reference only
- Business name — Name displayed in envelopes; defaults to organisational name if blank
After creation, access the group to configure full details, branding, and contact information.
Editing a Group
Click Open next to the target group in the Groups list.
Configurable Elements
Group details:
- Group name
Branding options:
- Brand colour (colour picker or hex code entry)
- Brand logo (GIF, JPEG, or PNG formats)
- Sending domain (requires prior DNS verification on the Sending Domains page)

- Website
Team members' outgoing envelopes will use the group's contact information instead of organisational defaults.
Select Save changes to confirm or Cancel to discard modifications.
Previewing Group Branding
A Previews section displays how branding appears in practice. Use the Preview as dropdown to select specific team members and observe email and envelope appearance.
Two preview options are provided:
- Email preview showing notification with logo, brand colour, and sender details
- Envelope preview displaying signing experience header with branded styling
Deleting a Group
From the group detail view, select Delete in the upper right corner.
Confirm the deletion when prompted. This action is permanent. Team members remain in the organisation but lose group association.
Adding Team Members to a Group
Navigate to Settings > Team Members and select Open for the desired team member.
In the Groups & Branding section, select the target group from the Group dropdown.
Email and envelope previews update automatically to reflect the group's branding. Select Save changes to apply the assignment.
